How do we to listen To, Discern & Respond to the Voice of God?
We’re swinging for the fences, aren’t we? Yep. Because it’s the only way we’ll be able to navigate our stories and God’s Bigger Story. We need to understand who we are as Sons, how that informs how we speak to God, and then (most importantly) how we hear from Him.
There’s a good chance you’ve got baggage around this topic. That’s ok. Bring it and unload it. A good portion of our conversation will be dismantling the lies around hearing from God and how that informs our day-to-day.
This isn’t and won’t be theory. If you are interested at all in hearing and learning from The One who made you, knows everything about you, and longs to have an ongoing conversation with you, then join us. You will leave with your heart on fire for more.

This isn't another Bible study.
It's training for war.
While each Gather event is curated with a specific focus, we always return to the framework
of God’s design seen in Scripture for how He works and the community He is building among us.
awaken & orient
We orient daily to one of three stories: The World (no control), The Self (control), or God’s Bigger Story (surrender). Where you focus your attention means everything. This is where the journey begins—waking up to the reality that there is more.
submit & yield
We must submit to our current season. This is where true growth occurs. Most of us spend our lives trying to escape or build out of where we are. When we yield to God’s design for biblical manhood, we recover the ancient path and discover who we are as Sons of God.
partner & advance
Spiritual growth that ends with ourselves has never truly begun. God intended that we partner with Him and others in what He does on earth—creating healthier families, stronger communities, bringing glory to God. This is where we take ground.
Your Guide For Gather
Ben Weaver
Ben creates space for men to become deep wells in a shallow world.
With 20 years as a pastor and spiritual guide, he leads men into the formation and healing the Church talks about but rarely delivers.
Ben holds a Master’s degree in spiritual formation and is the author of Relationships Are Everything. He lives in University City with his wife Shauna and their daughters.

The two goals for the evening are to commune with God and each other.
The evening will include teaching, reflection, time with God and a chance to process in a small group with other men.
The spirit of our Gather events is not loads of content wrapped in tips and tricks. It is about hearing from God and receiving what He has for us.
